About The University Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, established in 1964 has jurisdiction spread over to eight districts of Indore division. There are more than 250 affiliated colleges imparting education at UG/PG level in almost all the traditional & professional disciplines. UTD has more than 10,000 students in its campus presently and approximately 2.25 lakh students in its affiliated colleges under 16 faculties. The University offers a number of varied courses and attracts a large number of students from all the corners of the nation. Six Month Certificate Course in Sindhi Language Paper-I Elementary Grammar and Language Skills -50 Hours (100 Marks) Elementary grammar and language skills, knowledge of alphabets, basic grammar of Sindhi including parts of speech, sentence formation, transformation of sentence, proverbs and idiomatic expression etc. Translation and transliteration from Hindi-Sindhi-Hindi, letter writing, essay writing, story writing, paragraph writing comprehension etc. Paper II – History of Sindhi Language & Literature 50 Hours (100 Marks) Origin and evolution of Sindhi language, significant linguistic features of Sindhi language, major dialects of Sindhi language, various scripts of Sindhi language, brief outline of Sindhi literature (Folk tales, Poetry, short stories, One Act Play, essay and Biography) Paper- III Oral (Reading and Conversation) 50 hours (100 Marks)  Minimum Eligibility – 12th pass  Course Fee- Rs. 2000/-  Exam Fee – Rs. 1020/-
